The work includes relay of water mains in Hellerman Street from Loretto Avenue to Castor Avenue and Summerdale Avenue from Hellerman Street to Magee Avenue, and construction of green stormwater infrastructure in Loretto Avenue from Gilham Street to Devereaux Avenue, Summerdale Avenue from Magee Avenue to Greeby Street, and Hellerman Street from Loretto Avenue to Castor Avenue. Specific line items include excavation for water pipes, installation of ductile iron pipe (6-inch, 8-inch, 12-inch), ductile iron fittings, gate valves, fire hydrants with center compression locks, water service connections, concrete anchors, paving (plain cement concrete base course, superpave binder and wearing courses), maintenance and protection of traffic, custom signage, electrolysis corrosion control, project schedule and notification letters, and for green infrastructure: excavation and disposal, double-ring infiltrometer tests, HDPE anti-seep collars, geomembrane pipe penetration, solid and perforated HDPE and PP pipe, solid PVC pipe, DI pipe, backfill, stone wrapped in geotextile, impermeable geomembrane liner, sand filter layer, inlet connections, junction boxes, green city inlets, highway grate inlets, observation wells, concrete curb, footway paving, driveway paving, planting soil, ADA ramps, as-built survey and drafting, and erosion and sediment control measures.
