It is the intent of the City of Philadelphia to make an award for 6x4 CNG Truck w/20 HD Compactor Body for the Department of Fleet Services as specified herein during the contract period. All quotes must be submitted through PHL Contracts no later than 10:30 AM on the date that the related bid opens. Quotes will not be accepted after the bid opening. It is the Seller's responsibility to ensure that the quote is submitted in a timely manner.
The successful bidder must supply a 6x4 CNG Truck with a 20 cubic yard high density compaction body, as specified in DFS Spec Code 25026CNGb.25, including options for various compactor bodies, plow assemblies, and other equipment. The contract is a requirements contract for the purchase of the vehicle, with delivery to the Department of Fleet Services in Philadelphia.
