The work includes furnishing all labor and materials necessary for the reconstruction of existing sewers in North Queens. The bid schedule includes items for various sizes of extra strength vitrified pipe (E.S.V.P.) and reinforced concrete pipe (R.C.P.) sewers on concrete cradle, manholes, catch basins, basin connections, house connections, water main pipe and fittings, gate valves, hydrants, service lines, pavement restoration (asphaltic concrete, concrete base, curb, sidewalk), tree removal and planting, seeding, and other associated work such as maintenance and protection of traffic, dewatering, and sheeting and bracing.
