The State of Oregon, acting by and through the Department of Fish and Wildlife, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to establish one or more Contracts for 2026, quality, weed free Alfalfa Hay. ODFW prefers Second Crop Alfalfa but will be accepting alternate pricing for First and Third Crop Alfalfa. THIS IS AN Intermediate PROCUREMENT (OAR 125-047-0270).
Agency will not be accepting protests. This intermediate solicitation will result in a contract.
The contractor will supply weed-free alfalfa hay to the Elkhorn Wildlife Area, with delivery to Salem, OR. The hay must be of quality suitable for wildlife feeding, and the contractor must provide pricing for the preferred crop and optionally for alternate crops.
