OPWDD’s Contract Management Unit for Long Island DDSOO is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform Janitorial Services for the Plainview Maintenance Office located in Nassau County. The Scope of Work includes, but not limited to cleaning, trash removal, sanitization, and floor maintenance.
It is the Bidders’ responsibility to set up an appointment with the Site Manager or their designee, to determine the specific requirements of all aspects of the site, in relation to the service to be provided. Please refer to IFB, page 4, Section 6 – Site Inspections for more details.
References, experience, financial resources, and applicable insurances are required. The bidder or its principals must be able to provide references that verify they have 3 years of relevant experience. The Bidder will be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and ordinances governing the performance of Janitorial Services. Contract will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidder that provides the lowest Total Annual Cost For All Janitorial Services.
Prevailing wage will apply to this contract.
