The University at Buffalo intends to procure seventy-two (72) custom front-load, three-stream waste and recycling receptacles, each with a capacity of 55 gallons per section and an aggregate capacity of 165 gallons, together with the associated white glove services identified below. The procurement will be conducted pursuant to the University’s discretionary purchasing authority under New York State Finance Law § 163(6) and New York State Education Law § 355(5)(a). This opportunity is limited to New York State-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs) pursuant to Article 17-B of the New York State Executive Law. Interested parties should contact the designated University representative identified in this advertisement for additional information regarding this procurement opportunity.
This notice is intended to provide interested vendors with an opportunity to offer the waste and recycling receptacles described herein, or technically verifiable equivalents. Any proposed equivalent must meet or exceed all applicable specifications, including form, function, utility, compatibility, operational requirements, and any other requirements deemed relevant by the University. The acceptability of any proposed equivalent shall be subject to the University’s sole discretion and approval.
