The University at Buffalo intends to purchase two (2) MicroTransit Passenger Buses, together with the related products identified below, through Sourcewell Contract No. 032824-ELV. This procurement is being conducted pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163(3)(vi), which permits the purchase of commodities through a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a NYS centralized contract, provided the procurement is supported by price justification and otherwise complies with applicable New York State procurement requirements. This notice is intended to provide interested vendors with an opportunity to provide the vehicles and related products described herein, or technically verifiable equivalents, at pricing that is equal to or lower than the pricing available under the referenced contract.
Proposed equivalents must meet or exceed all applicable specifications, including form, function, utility, compatibility, operational requirements, and any other requirements deemed relevant by the University. The acceptability of any proposed equivalent shall be subject to the University’s sole discretion and approval.
