The Town of Gallatin is seeking proposals from qualified solar installation contractors to design, supply, and install a ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar system at Town Hall, located at 667 County Route 7, Ancram, NY 12502 This project is intended to reduce the Town's electricity costs, lower its carbon footprint, and take advantage of available state and federal incentives.
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued pursuant to New York State General Municipal Law § 103, which requires competitive bidding for public works contracts exceeding $35,000. All proposals will be evaluated on a best-value basis.
The Town also invites bidders to submit a separate, optional Add-Alternate price for co-located battery energy storage.
