The NYS Department of Health has received sole source approval to contract with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for the period 101/1/2026-9/30/2031 in the amount of $135,000 annually. The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will be responsible for conducting inspections of summer feeding sites and to provide training to the food handlers of the summer feeding sites. This program is designed to provide nutritious meals to children during the summer months when school is not in session.
