OPWDD's Contract Management Unit for Capital District DDSOO is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform residential generator maintenance and repair services. This is a full service maintenance contract to include all parts and labor. Emergency repair service is to be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Contractor will respond and report to emergencies within 4 hours of receiving notice.
Three professional references attesting to at least three years of comparable, relevant experience for the bidder or its principals is required. Contractor shall provide all applicable insurances.
Contract(s) will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidder(s) that provide
the lowest Total Annual Estimated Combined Cost per Cluster. Award will be made by
Cluster. A bidder may bid on one or multiple Clusters and multiple contracts may be
awarded. All sites included in a Cluster are to be serviced by the winning bidder.
Prevailing wage will apply. Contractors must be registered with the New York State
Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and submit their Certificate of Contractor Registration
with their bid for any Article 8 project.
