<div class="bg-primary text-white fw-bold p-2 collapse-toggle"The selected Exterior Window Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and coordination necessary to provide a complete, code compliant exterior window installation. The base bid includes removal and disposal of all existing exterior windows, supply and installation of new exterior windows as specified, interior trim repair directly associated with window removal and installation, exterior trim and/or brickmold as required, all flashing, air sealing, and weatherproofing necessary for a watertight assembly, temporary weather protection during window removal and installation, lead paint-safe work practices in accordance with applicable EPA and OSHA requirements, protection of adjacent finishes and historic building elements, and final adjustment, cleaning, and punch list completion. All replacement windows shall be subject to NPS/ESD approval and shall replicate the existing window design, dimensions, profiles, and appearance as reflected in the current drawings. Exclusions are masonry repair beyond basic window opening preparation, interior or exterior painting not directly required for window installation, and restoration of historic finishes beyond basic trim repair.
