<div class="bg-primary text-white fw-bold p-2 collapse-toggle"The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete exterior masonry repairs and new concrete work associated with the courtyard area of the Beck's Historic Hotel renovation. Work includes repointing of existing exterior brick masonry (removal of deteriorated mortar joints, cleaning and preparation, installation of new mortar compatible with historic masonry, matching existing mortar color and joint profile, proper curing and finishing); installation of new concrete masonry units (CMUs) on the exterior courtyard wall (mortar installation, reinforcement, alignment, leveling, finishing); and installation of a new concrete slab in the courtyard and B decking area (approximately 1,400 square feet total, 6 inches thick, 4,000 psi compressive strength, including subgrade preparation, forms, reinforcement, placement, leveling, finishing, control joints, and curing). The contractor must protect surrounding building elements, maintain a clean work area, and remove debris upon completion. Replacement brick shall closely match existing masonry in size, color, and texture; mortar shall be compatible with existing historic brick; mock-ups may be required if requested by the Owner.
