Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: MTA Construction & Development (MTA C&D) is seeking to retain the services of a consultant to provide preliminary design and planning services for climate resilience and infrastructure improvements on Metro-North Railroad’s (“MNR”) Hudson Line (the “Project”).
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA”), acting by and through MTA Construction & Development (“MTA C&D”), seeks through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to retain the services of a consultant to provide preliminary design and planning services for climate resilience and infrastructure improvements on Metro-North Railroad’s (“MNR”) Hudson Line (the “Project”).
This Contract includes two tasks that will proceed concurrently. The first task (“Task A”) comprises preliminary engineering, bridging documents, and procurement of a design-build contract to construct flood mitigations and improvements on Hudson Line infrastructure between Mileposts (“MP”) 11.0 to MP 19.0 (the “Segment”). The second task (“Task B”) comprises a study to develop guidance for future design of infrastructure projects and climate resilience improvements on the Hudson Line from MP 6.0 to MP 75.76 (the “Climate Resilience Blueprint” or the “Blueprint”).
