New York Power Authority (NYPA) solicitation to furnish and deliver 0-75,000 Barrels of Ultra-Low Sulfur Distillate (ULSD) Oil with maximum sulfur content of 15 ppm to the Authority's 500 MW Power Plant in Astoria, Queens, New York.
Delivery must be made by barge or ship only in the cargo size(s) specified by NYPA. Distillate Oil quality must be in strict compliance with NYPA Contract Specifications (Colonial Pipeline Grade 62/67, Non-dyed and Non-Bio diesel).
Solicitation for vendor qualifications are accepted on a continuous basis. Oil procurement shall be made on a spot basis as an when Oil inventory needs to be replenished. Request for proposals will be issued separately to NYPA qualified & approved Oil Bidders with the required delivery terms. Seller must include delivery window on their proposals.
Interested firms are required to have proven financial track records, documented history & experience dealing with ULSD and must comply with NYPA's contractual requirements. Suppliers must have good/clean rights and title to sell such oil and must provide its financial capability to complete the transactions.
