The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to produce, crush, stockpile, load, haul, and deliver 3/8-inch chip seal aggregate meeting NMDOT specifications. Aggregate must be crushed stone or crushed gravel composed of hard, durable particles with minimum 75% two fractured faces, free of organic matter, clay lumps, or contaminants, with Aggregate Index of 20 or less and moisture content at time of application not exceeding 2% by dry weight. Material shall meet gradation requirements with 100% passing 3/4-inch and 1/2-inch sieves, 95–100% passing 3/8-inch sieve, 0–35% passing No. 4 sieve, 0–3% passing No. 8 sieve, and 0–1.5% passing No. 200 sieve. Contractor shall stockpile material to prevent segregation or contamination, provide certified weight tickets for each load delivery, deliver during normal NMDOT operating hours to specified locations, ensure trucks are loaded to prevent spillage, and coordinate delivery schedule with the Staff Manager. Delivery locations include 12 stockpile sites across routes NM 28, NM 273, NM 48, NM 478, FR 1035, FR 1037, FR 1038, and FR 1043, ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 tons per location.
