Newark Broad Street Station & Plaza Area Facility Maintenance and Management Service
Contract
NJ TRANSIT is issuing an IFB for maintenance, operations and management services of the Newark Broad
Street Station & Plaza Area Facility Maintenance and Management Service Contract. All work must be in
conformance with the specifications provided in the Bid Documents.
To obtain all pertinent Bid Documents, interested firms must register with BID EXPRESS, by following
instructions on www.bidexpress.com. There is no cost to register or submit a bid.
Notice is hereby given that this is an electronic bid submission received via the Internet until 2:00 pm (Eastern
Standard Time) EST on November 10, 2026, by NJ TRANSIT for maintenance, operations and management
services for the Newark Broad Street Station & Plaza Area Facility Maintenance and Management Service
Contract.
NJ TRANSIT’s Pre-Bid Conference will be held utilizing a telephone and video conference via Microsoft Teams,
which is scheduled for August 12, 2026, at 10:00 am EST(subject to change by Addenda) to the IFB, for the
purpose of discussing general information relating to the project.
This is a Two-Step IFB. Step One (1) of this IFB will involve a pre-qualification process. All Bidders must be
prequalified by NJ TRANSIT prior to submitting a Bid. All Bidders, regardless of past performance, must
complete the Bidders Pre-Qualification Package (Attachment B) for review by the NJ TRANSIT Pre-qualification
Committee prior to the submission of their Bid in Step Two (2).
