The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health (“Department”), is seeking responses to this Request for Applications ("Solicitation" or "RFA") from qualified Vendors to provide expert pediatric audiology support and quality-assurance guidance for the Department’s Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Program. Support will also extend to pediatric audiology centers and facilities that conduct newborn hearing screenings.
The Contractor must provide technical and clinical audiological expertise, oversight, and consultation for quality assurance activities related to infant hearing screenings statewide. Duties include responding within five business days to audiology consultation requests, providing technical consultation to community audiologists and hospitals, developing educational materials, providing training to healthcare professionals and birth hospitals, participating in monthly EHDI team meetings and the annual National EHDI Conference in Year One, collaborating with providers to increase accessibility for infants needing audiological testing, and submitting annual performance measure outcome reports and data on performance measure outcomes.
