The Engineer will prepare project cost estimates and other necessary engineering information for application preparation and, if awarded, provide engineering services through project closeout. The scope includes: 1) prepare plans and specifications; 2) distribute bid documents; 3) assist in bid opening and prepare bid tabulation; 4) assist in the execution of construction contracts; 5) hold a pre-construction conference; and 6) perform construction inspection, provide periodic reports to the County, and review and recommend approval of construction payment requests.
