A The Project scope is as shown on the Drawings and Specifications:
B. The Project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to provide hardening and flood protection upgrades to Pump Station 0536. The hardening and flood protection upgrades include but are not limited to:
a. Louvers: Replace all existing wall louvers above D.F.E. with aluminum louver model ELF6375DXD by RUSKIN.
b. Doors and Windows:
c. Outdoor Equipment: provide impact and wind protection to air condition chillers and roof equipment.
d. Electrical: Installation of electrical equipment and conduits to enable the necessary infrastructure for the operation of a future
stand-by generator.
e. Provide waterproofing to all exterior walls below the D.F.E P20443 01 11 00 - 3
C. It is the intent of the Department to obtain a complete and working installation under this Project and any items of labor, equipment or materials which may reasonably be assumed as necessary to accomplish this end shall be supplied whether or not they are specifically shown on the Drawings or stated herein.
Technical Certification Requirements:
General Building Contractor, Building Contractor, General Engineering
The contractor must furnish all materials, labor, and equipment to provide hardening and flood protection upgrades to Pump Station 0536 at 8989 SW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33186. Work includes: replacing all existing wall louvers above D.F.E. with aluminum louver model ELF6375DXD by RUSKIN; removing existing single door, exterior double doors, and roll-up doors and replacing them with N.O.A. approved flood doors and roll-up doors; providing impact and wind protection to air conditioning chillers and roof equipment; installing electrical equipment and conduits to enable infrastructure for a future stand-by generator; providing waterproofing to all exterior walls below the D.F.E.; and performing other work shown on the Drawings and Specifications including demolition, removal, and refurbishment of existing features.
