16.04 mi of hot mix asphalt cold milling and resurfacing, overband crack filling, single chip seal with fog seal, trenching, shoulder widening and paving, installation of passing flare and pavement markings on M-60 from the Jackson/Calhoun County line easterly to I-94 and the passing flare for westbound M-60 at Cross Road, Jackson County. This project includes a 5 year Materials and Workmanship Pavement Warranty and a 2 year Pavement Performance Warranty.
In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of Ca, Cb and Ea. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Those subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder.

Most Michigan work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
