The contractor must fabricate, furnish, and install interior ADA and code-required signage exclusively for the Public Corridors of the Main Hospital building at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, covering Levels 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, and 06. The scope excludes all wayfinding, directional, and informational signage. The work includes demolition and removal of existing signs using specified tools, wall restorations, site containment for dust and debris, and record keeping of as-installed work. The contractor must provide all engineering of sign and graphic items, with shop drawings carrying a wet structural stamp and signature from a California Registered Structural Engineer. All signage must conform to 2022 California codes and ADA standards, using specified materials, fonts, and Braille specifications. The contractor must also prepare graphic layouts for evacuation maps and obtain approvals from the Fire Department.
