The County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services is releasing this Request for Rate (RFR) to obtain responses from qualified firms and establish an Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services Master Agreement (EMARS) for dialysis equipment
Contractor shall provide routine maintenance services as required by manufacturer's maintenance instructions at least annually, including diagnosis, inspection, cleaning, lubrication, safety inspection, functional tests, adjustments, calibrations, and replacement of worn or defective parts with OEM or equivalent parts. Contractor shall also provide as-needed repair services with a 4-hour response time, including minor and major repairs such as overhaul, modification, or refurbishing. Additional services include on-site educational training on correct usage and troubleshooting of dialysis equipment, maintaining written service reports, and assisting with the Facilities' Equipment Risk Management Program. Services are to be provided at LAC+USC Medical Center and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center during Regular Business Hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding County holidays), with rates inclusive of travel, labor, and parts.
