Effective September 9, 2019, the solicitation for P&O Services is suspended and will be re-opened if the County needs additional Contractors. Request for Statement of Ancillary Services Qualifications to provide Prosthetic and Orthotic Appliances Services for patients served by the County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services. NOTE: This solicitation will remain open until the needs of the County are met.
Contractors will provide prosthetic and orthotic appliance services to patients served by the County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services. Services include billing Medi-Cal, Medicare, private/commercial insurance, and the facility directly for various patient types. Contractors must obtain prior authorization, provide itemized invoices with supporting documentation, and comply with Medi-Cal reimbursement rates. The contractor is responsible for collecting patient share of cost, deductibles, and co-payments. Invoices require written approval from the Facility's Project Manager before payment.
