The County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services is releasing this Request for Rate (RFR) to obtain responses from qualified firms and establish an Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services Master Agreement (EMARS) for medical imaging equipment.
Selected contractors will provide testing, inspection, preventive maintenance and repair services of Canon Medical Imaging Equipment at County medical facilities to maintain compliance with The Joint Commission requirements. The equipment is used for high-resolution, three-dimensional imaging of the body including the brain, chest, spine and abdomen to diagnose infection, identify masses and tumors including cancer, study blood vessels, and guide surgeons during biopsy procedures.
