The project requires removing and disposing of approximately 3,500 square feet of cracked and undermined concrete at Fire Station 41's vehicle parking area, then compacting, installing rebar, pouring, and finishing new 4,000 PSI concrete. Work includes surface preparation (new CAB fill if needed, rebar grid installation at 18" on-center, rebar dowels drilled into existing slab), installation of concrete forms and expansion joints, locating electrical lines, pouring Hi-Early 4,000 PSI concrete with no fly ash, and finishing edges with a broom finish. The contractor must barricade the worksite, provide portable restroom and wash facilities, perform daily cleanup, and pull any necessary permits from the Department of Public Works.
