The contractor will provide quality and timely podiatry services, including evaluation and treatment of conditions such as fungal nail infections, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, and clipping and debridement of toenails, as well as evaluation and routine foot care for diabetic individuals. Services include on-site visits for a maximum of one day per month for WSNF and two days per month for WSH, with at least one all-day clinic per month. The contractor must be available for telephone consultation Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM EST, provide their own medical equipment, work under the direction of the facility's Medical Director, provide appropriate referrals, participate in training programs, prescribe medication, maintain medical records, and consult with facility staff. The contractor must also meet HIPAA requirements and maintain various licensing and accreditation standards.
