The work consists of asphalt resurfacing on Grundy Road (KY 692) from 0.142 miles north of Placke Road (CR 1036 Q1) extending northerly to KY 80, a distance of 3.47 miles, and on KY 1676 from Ezra Hall Road (CR 1625) extending easterly to Wesley West Road (CR 1662), a distance of 2.80 miles. The scope includes leveling and wedging, Class 2 asphalt surface, asphalt pavement milling and texturing, temporary and permanent pavement striping, non-tracking tack coat, fuel and asphalt adjustments, mobilization and demobilization, and maintaining and controlling traffic. The contract also includes base failure repair, edge key construction, and compliance with special notes for non-tracking tack, experimental KYCT and field rut testing, and waste and borrow sites.
