The work consists of asphalt resurfacing of KY 205 in Breathitt County, including milling, pavement wedge and shoulder separate operation, edge keys, asphalt milling and texturing, traffic control, and related items. The Department estimates mainline surfacing width of 24 feet, total mainline area of 31,488 square yards, shoulder width of 10 feet each side, and total shoulder area of 23,854 square yards. The contractor must deliver millings to the State Maintenance facility in Breathitt County. The project includes fuel and asphalt pay adjustment, compaction under Option B, and thermoplastic striping by ribbon gun over milled rumble strips.
