The State of Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services for the partial roof replacement (12,260 sq. ft.) at the Hoover Building
The selected firm shall provide design services including all design disciplines necessary to complete the scope of work, attend design kick-off meeting, field examination of existing buildings, design for scope of work including removal of existing ballasted roofing system and installation of a fully adhered EPDM roofing system, removal of abandoned rooftop equipment, resetting of roof drains, and provide minor drawing work to assist the Construction Manager. Project management services include review with the Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing's Building Code Bureau, develop and distribute agendas and meeting minutes, construction cost opinions, construction drawings and specifications, assist in obtaining bids, and construction administration including submittal review, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, periodic site visits, and closeout documentation.
