The successful bidder must purchase and remove a house located at 15316 Great River Road, McGregor, IA 52157 within Pikes Peak State Park. The structure must be removed no later than February 28, 2027, and the site left free of debris and in an orderly fashion. All solid waste must be deposited in a permitted sanitary landfill. Any tree removal or trimming must be approved by DNR staff. The bidder has the option to take or leave the attached porch and 500-gallon propane tank. The bidder must obtain all necessary permits including a Sovereign Lands Permit.
