The contractor reconstructs Sudduth Road 0.6 miles north of the I-55 Sherman interchange, including removal of the existing structure and reconstruction of SN 084-0100 over I-55 with structure excavation, concrete structures and superstructure including approach slabs, structural steel, steel HP12X53 piles, epoxy-coated reinforcement and bearings. Roadway work includes earth and furnished excavation, granular subbase and aggregate base, Portland cement concrete base, hot-mix asphalt binder and surface courses, shoulders, pavement removal, patching, pipe culverts, drains and underdrains, guardrail and cable median barrier, traffic control with detour signing, pavement markings, seeding, erosion control and related items, to be complete by October 31, 2027 plus 10 working days.
