The Mayor’s Office of Special Events and the Houston Parks Department wish to purchase the holiday
tree to be displayed in Herman Square in November and December 2026. Tree will be harvested,
transported and delivered to Houston, Texas on the date below. Houston Parks Department will install
the tree upon delivery.
Tree type: White Fir or Spruce
Size: 45 to 55 feet
Delivery Date: November 16, 2026
Notes to SPD:
Spruce trees require additional aesthetic enhancement by HPARD to create a uniform shape. Additional
costs ranging from $2,000 to $2,500 should be considered if this is the tree type selected.
