Property Boundary Vegetation Removal, Pruning and Related items for the Harris County Flood Control District
The contractor will clear, prune and remove non-hazardous standing live, dead or diseased trees from District rights-of-way adjacent to fence lines or private property, including removal of debris. Work may be machine-based or hand work only, with categories including Category 1 Machine Mulch, Category 2 Hand Clear (Haul Off), Category 3 Hand Clear with Limited Access, and Category 4 Survey Line Boundary Clearing. The contractor must initiate work within seven working days of a work order and complete all work before moving to another site. Vegetation greater than 1/4 inch diameter and up to 6 inches DBH must be removed from fences. Pruning must be to a maximum height of 15 feet per ANSI A-300 Standards. All cut material must be removed within 48 hours or liquidated damages may be assessed.
