1 Request for Proposal (RFP)
Haralson County Board of Commissioners invites you to respond to this Request for Proposal (RFP). The focus
of the RFP is to select a single organization to provide IT managed services, cyber security and Phone
service/support to Haralson County local government over a three-year period, beginning on January 1, 2027 and
ending no later than January 1, 2030. This MUST be a fixed cost proposal, with exceptions for large or unplanned
projects.

2 Introduction to H aralson County
Haralson County is a vibrant county in west Georgia.
The selected vendor will provide IT managed services, cyber security, and phone service/support to Haralson County local government. Services include fixed IT support and maintenance (with a tech on site minimum 1X a week), comprehensive cyber security (including managed endpoint security, URL/DNS filtering, security awareness training, simulated phishing, penetration testing, anomaly detection, inventory management, quarterly CISO review, and yearly GAP assessments), comprehensive backup and disaster recovery (including hardware/software for server data protection, encrypted backups, replicated copies, rapid restore capabilities, monitoring, and testing), maintenance and support (including ticketing system, remote management, patch management, 24/7 network monitoring, inventory management), technology strategy planning, solution design, secure wireless maintenance, fax over IP, IT policy review and development, implementation planning, life cycle management, software licensing control, architectural documentation, and phone system/support (including dedicated voice circuit, redundancy plan, call flow management, phone-number porting, VLAN configuration, CPE, support for existing Polycom handsets, ATA devices, auto attendant, hunt groups, and presence feature).
