Public Invitation to Bid
Oglethorpe County, Georgia (“County”), will receive sealed bids from qualified contractors for a
turnkey expansion of the irrigation system at the Oglethorpe County Recreation Department, 34
Lakeshore Drive, Crawford, Georgia.
The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, delivery, permits, installation, utility coordination, trenching, piping, irrigation components, electrical/control work, testing, restoration, cleanup, and incidentals for complete irrigation improvements across softball, utility, baseball, and mainline areas. The contractor must evaluate the existing pump system and furnish and install a compatible pump-house tank and pressure-switch/control assembly. Restoration of disturbed athletic playing surfaces must use compatible new sod, with seed and straw used outside playing surfaces. The work must be completed within 30 calendar days of Notice to Proceed, with a minimum one-year warranty after final acceptance.
