Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water System Improvements – FY 25 CDBG, Still Waters Eng.
Project No.: H0123.001 will be received, by the City of Hawkinsville, at the Hawkinsville City Hall –
56 Broad Street, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036, until 11:00 AM local time on August 20, 2026, at
which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the
closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Project consists of +/- 4,050 LF
Open Trench 6” PVC Water Main, +/- 575 LF 6” Fusible PVC By Horizontal Directional Drill, +/- 280
LF Open Trench 2” PVC Water Main, +/- 120 LF 2” Fusible PVC (or HDPE) By Horizontal Directional
Drill, +/- 285 LF 12” Jack & Bore Steel Casing, +/- 32 6” Gate Valves, +/- 8 Fire Hydrants, +/- 900 SY
Sidewalk Removal & Replacement, +/- 50 Service Transfers, and all other necessary appurtenances
for a complete installation.
Bids submitted via mail shall be mailed to City of Hawkinsville at 56 Broad Street, Hawkinsville,
Georgia 31036.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis,
with any alternate bid items if indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Still Waters Engineering, 130 Veterinary Way, Unit
2, Leesburg, GA 31763. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing
Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM and may obtain copies

The project consists of approximately 4,050 LF of open trench 6-inch PVC water main, 575 LF of 6-inch fusible PVC by horizontal directional drill, 280 LF of open trench 2-inch PVC water main, 120 LF of 2-inch fusible PVC (or HDPE) by horizontal directional drill, 285 LF of 12-inch jack and bore steel casing, 32 6-inch gate valves, 8 fire hydrants, 900 SY of sidewalk removal and replacement, 50 service transfers, and all other necessary appurtenances for a complete installation.
