It is the intent of these specifications to describe a heavy-duty truck and bed mounted crane. The truck and crane shall conform to applicable Georgia
and federal regulations binding this type of equipment. All proposals should include delivery and training of operators and service personnel.
The bidder must supply a Class 5 medium duty truck with extended cab, 4x4, 10-speed automatic transmission with PTO provision, air conditioning, cruise control, and other specified features; a mechanic body with aluminum side packs, aluminum doors, isolated steel crane compartment, and other specified body features; a hydraulic service crane with a rating of 53,100 ft-lb, max lifting capacity of 8,600 lbs., maximum horizontal reach of 29' 8", and maximum vertical lift of 31' 6"; a body-mounted compressor with output capacity of 40 cfm @ 100 psi; bumper-mounted options including vise mounting plate, step/slide out work bench bumper, and stabilizer assembly; LED flood and compartment light kits; electrical truck upfitter switches control package; and a diesel engine with 10-speed automatic transmission. Delivery and training of operators and service personnel must be included.
