Please keep the following notes in mind when bidding:
• Contractor is responsible for all Utility locates where required.
• Contractor is responsible for all damages to private and Government properties.
• Radiuses are to be used in all intersecting areas.
• Yellow ADA pads will be used.
• All ramps must meet existing asphalt making a smooth transition.
• All work is to be performed on County Property (right-of-way) with respect to private
property. Floyd County will not be responsible for work done on Private
Property, monetary or damage wise.
Floyd County terms are net 30. Invoices will be paid within 30 days of date on invoice.
The contractor shall remove and replace existing sidewalks along S. 2nd Street (north and south sides), S. 3rd Street (north and south sides), S. 4th Street (north side), Terrace Ave. (east side), and Central Ave. (east and west sides) in Lindale, GA. Work includes demolishing existing sidewalks and installing ADA-compliant handicap ramps (10 total) and 2 driveway tie-ins. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment; install erosion control as necessary; prepare each site per DOT/ADA requirements; install 3000 PSI fiber-reinforced concrete; ensure ramps have matching color and size of pegboards as currently in the Lindale Community; create safety barriers around each work site; remove and properly dispose of all demolition debris; and be responsible for all utility locates and damages to private and government properties. The contractor must also provide an expected start and completion date on the bid submission form.
