Sealed Bids will be received by the Dougherty County Board of Education in the Office of the Logistical Services Department located at 601 Flint Avenue, Albany, Georgia, 31701 until 2:00 PM EST on Thursday, September 10, 2026. A. Sealed Bids will be received by the Dougherty County Board of Education in the Office of the
Logistical Services Department located at 601 Flint Avenue, Albany, Georgia, 31701 until 2:00
PM EST on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Those Bids will then be publicly opened and read.
Bidders will be required to submit specific information/documentation with their Bids.
B. The scope of work includes all labor, material, and equipment required to renovate Sylvandale
Elementary School into a Public Safety Complex along with associated civil/site work as specified
in the bid documents.
C. There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for General Contractors at 10:00 AM EST on
Thursday, August 18, 2026 at Facilities Services Department; 1711 Schilling Avenue; Albany,
Georgia 31705. The Pre-Bid Meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 AM and the Owner reserves the
right to disqualify firms that arrive late.

1. A general discussion of the project will take place at the pre-bid meeting. A walk-thru of the site
   will be provided immediately after the meeting if requested.
2. Firms who do not attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will not be eligible to submit a Bid.
   D. Printed Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain by contacting the office of SRJ Architects
   Inc., 1108 Maryland Drive, Albany, Georgia 31707. Documents will be provided to prime bidders
   only upon request; only complete sets of documents will be issued.
3. Payment: A non-refundable cost of $500.00 made payable to Dougherty County School
   System.
4. Shipping: Additional shipping charges will apply.
