DEFINITIONS
Addendum – A change, addition, alteration, correction or revision to a bid or contract document.
Bidder – A firm, individual, or corporation submitting a bid in response to this IFB.
Bid Unit – The unit designation which shall be applicable to all pricing offered for bid evaluation purposes. Unit cost, freight,
fixed fee, estimated usage and the extended cost shall be stated in terms of the designated bid unit.
The selected vendor(s) shall supply and deliver specified foodservice equipment to various schools in Bulloch County, including tilting skillets, ice makers, pass-thru heated cabinets, refrigerators, combi ovens, convection ovens, mobile heated cabinets, and milk coolers. The dealer shall provide delivery, removal of designated existing equipment, placement, assembly (if required), and installation of all specified foodservice equipment. Installation shall include setting equipment in its final operating location, leveling, securing where required, and connection of equipment furnished with factory-installed cord and plug to existing compatible electrical receptacles. The dealer must also provide on-site training on the equipment provided and be able to hold equipment in a warehouse for up to one year.
