The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Kennesaw State University, is soliciting statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing Professional Consultant ("PC') services for master planning for a project known as Project No. 555-25-341, "Design, Construction Standards, and Technical Specifications Update' at Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw and Marietta, Georgia. The selected consultant will conduct a comprehensive evaluation, update, modernization, and implementation planning effort for KSU's Design and Construction Standards and Technical Specifications program. This includes a ground-up assessment of existing standards through document review, stakeholder interviews, facilitated workshops, benchmarking, and gap analysis. The consultant will develop complete CSI MasterFormat-based technical specifications, design standards, and a governance framework including a living standards platform using Microsoft SharePoint. The scope covers architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, IT, AV, security, sustainability, commissioning, closeout, and site infrastructure standards, among others. The consultant will also provide recommendations for version control, annual review processes, design exception workflows, and user training.
