The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and transportation for secure document destruction and secure data/media destruction. Services include providing secure locking containers for routine document destruction, scheduled bin pickups and swaps, box bulk pickups for one-time cleanouts, on-site destruction of documents using crosscut shredding equipment, secure transport and destruction of Haz-Mat documents, and digital/magnetic media destruction (tapes, disk drives, flash drives, CDs, DVDs, mobile electronics, memory modules). The contractor must maintain chain-of-custody records, provide certificates of secure destruction within 5 business days (2 business days for FTI or digital media), and comply with NAID AAA certification, DNREC permits, NIST SP 800-88r1, and IRS Publication 1075 requirements. Service areas are Delaware's three counties (New Castle, Kent, Sussex), and vendors may bid on one, two, or all three counties.
