Building and Automotive Maintenance - Repair, Operations Supplies and Equipment

If you were previously awarded Mesquite ISD Contracts #’s 2017-34, 2018-017, 2018-029, 2018-030, 2019-007, and/or 2019-022 please note that you will be removed from the awarded vendor pool unless you reply to this solicitation. If you are a “service” and not “supplies” vendor, you may respond to RFP 2023-011 Facilities Management – Outside Contracted Services. If you are a member of a Purchasing Cooperative and were awarded a contract that covers your Building and Automotive Maintenance, Repair, Operations Supplies and Equipment, you may reach out to Mesquite ISD Purchasing and share your cooperative information and once verified you will be added back to the awarded vendor pool. If you have received an emailed award letter for this RFP, #2023-002, you do not need to re-submit. If you were awarded on RFP 2022-008 you do not need to respond, your company will be included in the same awarded vendor pool as those responding to this solicitation. The Mesquite Independent School District (Mesquite ISD) seeking proposals for Building and Automotive Maintenance - Repair, Operations Supplies and Equipment. This is a qualifying bid only. When your company submits this bid to MISD, you are placed on our approved vendor list. When MISD has a need for supplies that your company qualifies for, we may contact you for an estimate. Details will be provided when quote is requested. All supplies will be purchased on an as-needed basis only. There is no guarantee of issuance of a Purchase Order. Multiple contracts will be awarded. This Proposal Invitation is a request for a discount off-of catalog or price list for supplies, materials, and equipment and a not-to-exceed hourly labor rate for installation and repair. Except as provided in this Proposal Invitation, Vendor shall hold its Awarded Pricing firm during the Contract term. In the event of price decreases, such price decreases shall be allowed for all products. Seeking supplies for: • Appliances and Parts • Automotive • Building • Carpentry • Electrical • Elevator • Equipment (Material Handling, Storage Equipment) • Fencing and Gates • Glass • HVAC • Landscape • Lighting • Locksmith • Maintenance • Masonry • Monitoring (Energy, Water, Security, etc) • Paint • Parking Lot Striping • Pest Control • Plumbing • Power Generating Equipment • Power Washing • Roofing Supplies Only (No Labor) • Signage • Solar • Tools (Automotive and Hand Tools) • Welding • Other (All other Building and Automotive Maintenance, Transportation - Repair, Operations Supplies and Equipment Supplies) Contracts shall be in full force and in effect from the date of award through December 31st of each year. Agreements will auto renew December 31st of each year unless re-bid at the discretion of Mesquite ISD with the final renewal expiring on December 31, 2027. The estimated expenditure for this contract is approximately $1,000,000+ per year. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon actual needs and funding. It is not the policy of the Mesquite ISD to award contracts based solely on “low bid/proposal”. Upon an acceptable evaluation, all vendors who have met the provisions of this proposal will be considered for purchases.
