The City of Dallas (“City”) is soliciting qualification proposals in response to this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) from qualified nonprofit and for-profit consultant and design teams (“Applicant”). Applicants shall be Texas registered businesses or have authorization to work in Texas. This project will provide master planning services to the City of Dallas (City) Office of Housing & Community Empowerment (OHCE) to redesign the 10.5 acre Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Campus at 2922 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard OHCE seeks a qualified consultant team to create a comprehensive master plan and multidisciplinary design concepts for a reimagined, community-centered campus through a one-year professional services contract, with one optional one-year renewal exercisable at the City’s sole discretion.
On March 27, 2024, by Resolution No. 24-762, the City Council approved the funding through a Congressional Project Grant for this initiative.
