The Town of Glastonbury is requesting bids from licensed, qualified general contractors for the project: Interior Renovations Board of Education Central Office 50 Nye Rd. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 50 Nye Road Glastonbury, CT 06033, on August 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bidders are encouraged to attend. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond certified in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid.
The successful bidder must provide performance & labor & material payment bonds in the full amount of the agreed contract price. Contract is subject to state spending allocation goals & contract compliance requirements including non-discrimination requirements enforced by CHRO. Bidders are advised that this project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements of CT General Statutes Section 31-53.
Bidders must be prequalified to perform the work for the Project pursuant to the DAS Contractor Prequalification Program.
The project involves interior renovations to the Board of Education Central Office located at 50 Nye Road in Glastonbury, CT. The scope includes all work necessary to complete the renovations as detailed in the project manual and drawings.
