The selected firm will design an Enhanced Protective Placement unit, a court-ordered legal and supervisory status for individuals who enter the criminal justice system but cannot be put on trial because they are unlikely to be restorable to stand trial. The project includes compliance with the Buy Clean Colorado Act, which requires Environmental Product Declarations for eligible materials such as asphalt, concrete, steel, and wood. The consultant must have completed a Mental Health/Behavioral Health/or Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities design within the last 5 years. The work is performed in Pueblo, Colorado.
