The selected contractor will assist with establishing a system-level framework to guide the long-term stewardship, growth, and sustainability of Colorado's State Parks. The Comprehensive Strategy will consider resource sustainability, resilient ecosystems, and guaranteeing exceptional, accessible outdoor experiences for current and future generations. It will also consider long-term system sustainability through a forward-looking planning horizon (e.g., 2040), including actionable strategies to address deferred maintenance needs, evolving visitation patterns, and financial resilience across the state park system.
