NBS Laboratory Information Management System - OIT
The objective of this project is to gather information primarily to replace the newborn screening (NBS) laboratory information management system. The LIMS is the key software that integrates with laboratory instruments, tracks testing, links patient demographics, provides reporting and tracks patients to diagnosis. This project will need to support sample testing for over 130,000 newborn samples annually on more than ten (10) different testing platforms. The LIMS integrates with laboratory instruments, tracks testing, links patient demographics, provides reporting and tracks patients to diagnosis, supporting over 130,000 newborn samples annually on more than ten different testing platforms. Respondents are asked to describe their system's ability to meet the Exhibit A requirements, provide estimated costs for development, implementation and maintenance, provide an estimated project schedule and delivery timeframe after receipt of order, and indicate willingness to demonstrate the solution by invitation.
