Massachusetts Technology Collaborative is issuing this Request for Proposals for Snow Plowing Services (RFP No.2027-GA-01) to solicit responses from qualified contractors with experience in Snow Plowing and Snow Removal.
Pre-Bid Conference: Required site visits July 13-July 17, 2026, by appointment only
The selected contractor shall provide snow clearing, plowing, salting, de-icing and shoveling services on the MassTech Campus (10 buildings on 36 acres at 75 North Drive, Westborough, MA) and the adjacent Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife property. Services include maintaining safe and accessible campus from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. seven days per week, using magic salt or ecological equivalent for de-icing, installing snow stakes by November 15th and removing by May 1st, providing 24-hour answering service, keeping a snowplow on site during storms over 2 inches, clearing pathways to building entrances by 7:30 a.m. weekdays, clearing snow from HVAC units, fire hydrants, flag poles, dumpsters, mailboxes, and monitoring snow banks at intersections. The contractor must also provide snow relocation and off-site hauling services when on-site accumulation becomes unmanageable, and repair any damage caused by the contractor by May 15th each year at no additional cost.
