Procuring a Health Care Consultant for the Group Insurance Commission

The selected health care and prescription drug consultant will assist in the procurement of vendors to administer the GIC's medical health care plans for up to a five-year period, and will provide ongoing support as the GIC manages the health care and prescription drug plans. Services include evaluating current programs, assisting in the formulation of a strategy that maximizes member value and minimizes cost, assisting with drafting and publication of Request for Responses (RFRs), evaluating submitted bids, supporting the selection of vendors, and assisting with implementation, ongoing program evaluation, rate development, and technical support.
